It is similar to giving a product demonstration to a customer face to face, and it’s a great way to show off the product! We are 64% more likely to buy a product online after watching a product video.
This is the second video in my ‘How-To’ video series, and in this one, I discuss some of the basic elements you need to include when creating a ‘Product Demo’ video; as well as some tips and tricks that will help guide you through the process. I’ll show you how video is a powerful way to build your brand, show off your product and drive traffic to your site.

How To Make A Product Demo Video: Some essential components
1. Introduce your product or brand.
2. Talk about who your product is aimed at.
3. Go through the product demonstration.
4. Cover the main features of your product and back each feature up with a benefit.
5. Call to action: Ask the viewer to visit your website or click on a link; whatever you want them to do.
Once you have made your product video you can upload it to YouTube and then embed the video into your product page of your site. Use general terms in your description on Youtube. For example for Overboard we made some product videos for their waterproof bags. We used the term “Waterproof Bag” first in the YouTube title and in the description and tags. Put your brand name last. This will help your video to get ranked for the terms people are searching for.
